Walking through the mall I hear two white guys behind me talking amongst themselves:
“Those Bubble Tea places are open ’til like 3:00 in the morning and that’s when a sh*tload of Asians are hanging out.”
I had to stifle my laughter cos it’s true! That’s Vancouver for ya. I’m not offended, best laugh of the day!

No, not quite ’til 3am but lots are open pretty late, 1am easily. MUCH better than in Calgary!

yes! Bubbletea! I’m still surprised when I meet Vancouverites who’ve never had it.
And also, I remember when the Starbucks in downtown Calgary closed at like 6pm during Win Con. That was donk.
